Your Files, Your Privacy

A plain-language explanation of whether Convert2PDF uploads, stores or accesses files used with its current browser-based tools.

The current Convert2PDF tools are designed to complete their document work inside your browser. Here is what that means in practical terms.

  1. SelectChoose a supported file from your device.
  2. Process in your browserThe current tool reads and transforms the file locally.
  3. DownloadSave the generated result directly to your device.

1. Are my files uploaded to a server?

No, not by the current converters and PDF organization tools. They are configured for client-side processing, and their code does not send the selected file bytes to a Convert2PDF upload endpoint.

Normal page requests still reach the web server, and analytics may receive technical usage data when enabled. The application's analytics events exclude filenames, document contents and file bytes.

2. Are my files stored?

The Convert2PDF application does not store files selected in the current tools. Processing uses browser memory. Generated download URLs are temporary and are revoked when the interface resets; they also end with the browser session.

3. Can anyone access my files?

Convert2PDF staff cannot access a file that never leaves your browser through the application. However, your device, browser extensions, managed-device software and any local backup or synchronization tools remain outside Convert2PDF's control.

4. What happens after conversion?

The result is prepared as a browser Blob and downloaded when you choose the download action. You are responsible for checking the result and deciding where it is saved or shared.

What if a future tool needs a server?

It should be labelled clearly before file selection. Convert2PDF must then explain why the upload is needed, who processes it and how long it is retained. No current published tool uses that workflow.
